World of Women will release a Monopoly game
NFT project World of Women has announced the release of a WoW-themed Monopoly game in partnership with second-largest toy manufacturer Hasbro and premium board game manufacturer WS Game.
World of Women is an NFT brand launched in July 2021. Its genesis collection features 10,000 PFP artworks designed by Yam Karkai. The current floor price of the collection is 4.199 ETH (approximately $4,700 at the time of writing), with the total volume traded having reached 70.7K ETH.
This is the first time a board game meets an NFT brand. To start, the companies will drop the branded Monopoly game as an NFT. Then, holders will be able to redeem the digital version for the physical one. WS Game will produce and distribute the Monopoly, and the game will be available for WoW and WoWG holders only.
“Partnering with a historical brand like Monopoly is an incredible opportunity for our collective and community. As the WoW franchise continues to grow, we are honored and thrilled to be in business with a category leader like Monopoly for World of Women Galaxy,” said the artist and the co-founder of WoW Yam Karkai.
