TOKEN2049 Singapore Returns As The Largest Industry Gathering Of The Year With Institutional Finance At Its Core

TOKEN2049, the world’s largest crypto event, will return to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on 7–8 October, drawing 25,000 attendees from more than 7,000 companies across 160 countries. Organizers have announced the first 100 speakers, a lineup that signals the event’s growing institutional character alongside its crypto-native roots.
Among the announced speakers are Shayne Coplan, founder and CEO of prediction market platform Polymarket, and Jeff Yan, CEO of Hyperliquid Labs, representing two of the most closely watched projects in the current crypto cycle. They will be joined by senior figures from traditional finance: Adena Friedman, Chair and CEO of Nasdaq; Jenny Johnson, CEO of Franklin Templeton; and Tom Lee, Managing Partner and Head of Research at Fundstrat. Raoul Pal, Co-Founder and CEO of Real Vision, and Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organization, round out a roster that blends digital asset expertise with mainstream financial and political influence.
Institutional participation will be a defining theme of this year’s edition, with senior leaders from BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Nasdaq, NYSE, CME and Franklin Templeton expected across the event’s programme. The strong presence of traditional market infrastructure suggests that the divide between legacy finance and digital assets — a long-standing narrative in the industry — has narrowed considerably, with asset managers, exchanges and derivatives venues now treating crypto as a core area of engagement rather than a peripheral experiment.
Festival-Scale Format and Expansion Plans
The event will take over all five floors of Marina Bay Sands, creating a festival-scale environment spanning content, networking, wellness, live experiences and the event’s signature hospitality offerings.
TOKEN2049 will also anchor a broader week of activity across Singapore. More than 1,000 satellite events — ranging from conferences and hackathons to investor gatherings and networking receptions — are expected to fill venues throughout the city. Other major gatherings scheduled for the same week include Digital Asset Summit Asia, Sui Basecamp, the Network State Conference, the Milken Institute Asia Summit and the Forbes Global CEO Conference, all coinciding with the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix and giving the week a cross-industry character rare for crypto conferences.
“With our Dubai edition moving to 2027, our full focus this year is on Singapore. We’re seeing strong interest, with more than 70% of the exhibition floor already secured,” said Alex Fiskum, Co-Founder of TOKEN2049 in a written statement. “We’ll also unveil new tracks and formats in the coming weeks as we expand the institutional side of the programme. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to TOKEN2049 this October for the largest industry gathering of the year,” he added.
The 2026 edition will also host the second iteration of TOKEN2049 Origins, a 36-hour hackathon, alongside the return of the NEXUS Startup Competition. Registrations and applications for both programmes are running well ahead of last year’s figures and number in the thousands, with this year’s finalists set to be judged by venture capital firms Dragonfly, Multicoin and Maelstrom.
Happy Bird tickets are currently available for a limited time, with the event expected to sell out ahead of October. Limited exhibition and partnership opportunities also remain.
