Punk rock group Sex Pistols will issue commemorative coins and an NFT collection to mark the Queen’s platinum jubilee and the re-release of the iconic 1977 song “God Save The Queen.”

“The Pistols Mint” will include NFTs with every purchase, which is a bit different than the digital-first approach we’ve seen. The NFTs will feature several randomly assigned designs, meaning that every holder will discover the design after the mint. Each NFT is designed by Jamie Reid, the artist whose artworks were used as an inspiration for the coin series. Reid curated the band’s image and created the iconic Sex Pistols’ single covers.
The coins are nickel-plated with enamel color infills feature and raised sections of stamped iron. Each coin comes in a cushioned sapphire velvet box.

Commemorative coins are now available for pre-order on the official Sex Pistols online store and in Record Store UK. The coins will sell for £25.
The official NFT mint is expected by the end of July. The collection will not be available in a number of countries, so individuals should check the terms of sales. The Sex Pistols will use Palm ecosystem to mint the collection.
