RTFKT teases an upcoming phygital drop
RTFKT Studio is teasing followers with an upcoming digital-physical drop. The Studio is working on ten next-generation collections, which will be available for purchase exclusively for CloneX holders.
“Tough choices await Clone X holders,” tweeted Zapito, one of RTFKT’s members, “Clones are central to the ecosystems we are building.”
RTFKT team is also working on new traits, which will come next year as a long-term project with different season forges. Additionally, CloneX holders are rumored to receive other airdrops later this year.
RTFKT is a creator-led organization focused on NFT, blockchain, and AR. Clone is best known for its digital sneakers and NFT collection CloneX. Its current floor price on the secondary market is 8.85 ETH, (approximately $15,000 at the time of writing), with 222.8K ETH of volume traded.
In June, RTFKT introduced new utilities for CloneX holders – they now own full commercial rights for the avatars and can unlock 3D files in different formats.
In December 2021, RTFKT was acquired by sportswear giant Nike for an undisclosed sum. The companies recently dropped the first RTKFT x Nike Augmented Reality hoodie, which comes with a near-field communication chip and can be tracked using augmented reality.
