MEXC Extends Zero-Fee Model To Payments With Global Card Offering 10% USDT Cashback

MEXC Extends Zero-Fee Model To Payments With Global Card Offering 10% USDT Cashback

Cryptocurrency exchange MEXC announced that it has launched the MEXC Global Card, expanding its zero-fee model from digital asset trading into payment services and everyday spending.

The new product operates on Visa’s global acceptance network and supports both Apple Pay and Google Pay. The launch comes at a time of increasing demand for cryptocurrency payment solutions, with Paymentscan data showing that actual crypto card spending reached approximately $759 million in July 2026, a figure representing roughly 2.5 times the level recorded one year earlier.

The card carries no issuance, annual, or top-up fees. During a promotional period extending through September 30, 2026, all purchases will incur zero transaction fees. After this promotional window concludes, rates will begin at 1%. Purchase transactions are settled using Visa’s exchange rates, and apart from foreign exchange fees that Visa may charge for certain currencies under its existing rules, MEXC applies no additional exchange-rate markup.

The application process requires completion of advanced identity verification and takes approximately one to two minutes, with virtual cards activated immediately upon approval. The product supports individual transactions of up to 80,000 USDT and daily spending limits of up to 1,000,000 USDT. A referral program offers rewards of 20 USDT to eligible referrers and 10 USDT to new users.

Rewards Framework and Strategic Vision

The MEXC Global Card provides USDT cashback ranging from 4% to 10%, with a monthly cashback cap of up to 800 USDT. Cardholders who activate the MEXC VVIP Standard tier following card issuance and activation receive a base cashback rate of 4%. Higher cashback rates may be unlocked through increased M-Score, which can be improved via participation in Earn products, trading activity, and platform tasks.

Additionally, cardholders may subscribe to a card-exclusive flexible savings product through MEXC Earn, which offers annualized returns of up to 7% on subscribed USDT. The combination of cashback and yield mechanisms is designed to address both active spending and idle-asset management scenarios.

“The MEXC Global Card is more than a payment product. It is a step toward closing the full user lifecycle on-chain and reimagining what ‘Infinite Opportunities’ means in everyday life. We want users to see digital assets not simply as an investment tool, but as part of a complete financial journey, from saving and yield-generating products to principal-protected solutions and, ultimately, everyday spending,” said MEXC CEO Vugar Usi in a written statement.

“With the MEXC Global Card, users can keep their assets in digital form until the very last second, giving them the freedom to move seamlessly from holding and managing their assets to using them in the real world. This is our vision for life on-chain: a financial ecosystem where digital assets do not sit on the sidelines, but become an active part of how people save, grow, and spend their money,” he added.

Eligible users in supported regions may apply through the official MEXC Global Card page. Further details are available on the platform’s official page.
