In Brief
HSC Asset Management Singapore, Oct 8: see the full speaker lineup from Pantera, Galaxy, Fidelity, Mastercard and more across two stages.

The upcoming HSC Asset Management conference in Singapore, taking place on October 8, 2026, at the Fairmont Singapore, is set to bring together an exceptional roster of speakers, each bringing distinct expertise to one of Asia’s most consequential conversations at the intersection of institutional finance and digital assets.
Among the standout figures are Dr. Bankee Kwan, Chairman and CEO of CASH Financial Services Group, a prominent name in Asian financial services; Pang Qi Lim, CEO, Singapore and Southeast Asia at HSBC Global Asset Management, representing the region’s leading institutional asset management perspective; and Arthur Hayes, CIO at Maelstrom, one of the most closely followed voices in crypto markets. Also speaking is Yat Siu, Chairman and Co-Founder of Animoca Brands, a defining force in Web3 gaming and digital ownership, alongside Andrew O’Neill, Managing Director and Digital Assets Analytical Lead at S&P Global Ratings, and Jansen Phee, Head of Fund Investment Solutions, APAC, and Head of Global Investment Management, China, at UBS.
They will be joined by Febby Avianto, Managing Director and Head of Wealth Management (Emerging ASEAN) at GWM Maybank Singapore; Grace Chong, Head of Financial Services Regulation at Drew & Napier; and Ken Lin, Managing Director and Head of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia Intermediary Business at Invesco, alongside representatives from Fidelity International, Ethereum Institutional, Galaxy Digital, Offchain Labs, Mastercard, Tether, Pantera Capital, Binance, ZKsync, and more.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the conference’s top speakers.
Ken Lin, Managing Director, Head of Hong Kong and Southeast Asia Intermediary Business, Invesco
Few regional distribution leaders have a closer view of Southeast Asia’s appetite for global investment products than Ken Lin. A CFA and CAIA charterholder, he guides Invesco’s relationships with banks, insurers and wealth platforms across Hong Kong and the region, with Thailand a particular focus. His work includes bringing Thailand its first ChiNext 50 depositary receipt, referencing an Invesco ETF. He also co-authored a whitepaper with Boston Consulting Group and Aptos Ascend that describes tokenized funds as the “third revolution” in asset management. He speaks for a firm that managed approximately $2.5 trillion in assets as of June 30, 2026.
Pang Qi Lim, CEO, Singapore & Southeast Asia, HSBC Global Asset Management
Growing an asset manager across Southeast Asia means understanding markets that rarely behave alike, and Pang Qi Lim has spent his career doing exactly that. Since November 2023 he has led HSBC Asset Management’s business in Singapore and the wider region, while also heading its strategic partnerships in Southeast Asia. His earlier years at Fidelity International included opening new distribution markets in Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. As of April 2026, the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s directory still lists him as CEO of HSBC Global Asset Management (Singapore).
Jansen Phee, Head of Fund Investment Solutions, APAC & Head of Global Investment Management, China, UBS
When UBS’s wealthy clients across Asia Pacific choose a fund, Jansen Phee’s team has usually shaped the options on offer. He oversees the fund business of UBS Global Wealth Management in the region and leads its Global Investment Management efforts in China. He chairs the bank’s Asia Pacific Strategy Fund Forum and sits on its global funds forum. His 25-plus years in advisory, discretionary management and research include earlier roles at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Mercer and Citigroup Private Bank. He is a familiar voice on fund selection and on the thematic opportunities emerging across Asia.
Andrew O’Neill, Managing Director, Digital Assets Analytical Lead, S&P Global Ratings
Credit analysis meets crypto in the work of Andrew O’Neill. After more than a decade at S&P rating structured finance, he turned to digital assets in 2022 and now leads the agency’s research on how they may affect financial markets. He became Managing Director in October 2023 and took on the Digital Assets Analytical Lead role in April 2024. His research ranges from tokenization’s impact on debt capital markets to the risk dependencies of public blockchains. He also helped develop S&P’s Stablecoin Stability Assessments, launched in November 2023, and has represented the agency in Project Guardian’s fixed income work on tokenized markets.
Arthur Hayes, Chief Investment Officer, Maelstrom
The perpetual swap, now a cornerstone of crypto derivatives trading, traces back to BitMEX, the exchange Arthur Hayes co-founded. Today he runs Maelstrom, a family office investing across venture, liquid, private equity and public markets. Hayes is known for a macro-driven thesis that liquidity from U.S. fiscal and monetary policy will lift crypto, and he has held a long-term bullish stance on Bitcoin and selected DeFi assets throughout 2026. Maelstrom is also raising a $250 million institutional fund aimed at mid-sized crypto infrastructure firms.
Yat Siu, Co-Founder and Chairman, Animoca Brands
Ask who shaped the idea of digital ownership in Web3, and Yat Siu’s name comes up quickly. His company, Animoca Brands, has grown into a group spanning gaming, NFTs, DeFi and AI, with more than 600 investments. He has named 2026 the “Year of Utility,” arguing that AI agents will rely on blockchain for payments and identity, and has backed that view with a $10 million initiative for AI agent developers. Animoca is now pursuing a Nasdaq listing through a reverse merger with Currenc Group, which Siu describes as the first publicly listed, diversified digital assets conglomerate.

The public chains panel could be called a who’s who of base-layer builders. Krish Gosai, Managing Partner at Gosai Law, moderates a session with Niki Ariyasinghe, APAC VP at Chainlink, and Marco Cora, Director of Foundation at ZKsync. Eunice Giarta, Co-Founder of Monad Foundation, Steven Goldfeder, Co-Founder and CEO of Offchain, and Mark Rydon, Co-Founder of Aethir, bring the argument that public blockchains are now infrastructure.
AI agents take center stage at midday in a fireside chat with Arthur Hayes and Yat Siu, moderated by Alice Liu, Head of Research at CoinMarketCap.

Active capital beats passive liquidity brings together Atlas Capital, Atom Finance, Figment, CoinRoutes, FXHB Asset Management, and Animoca Brands, followed by a fireside chat on building the operating system for tokenized markets with MetaMask and Turtle Group.
The agentic economy panel is one of the day’s most forward-looking. Tomer Sharoni, Co-Founder and CEO of Addressable, moderates a conversation with Feroz Lakhani, Head of Marketing and AI Product at Sonic Labs, and Takatoshi Shibayama, Head of APAC at Ledger Enterprise. Arthur Firstov, CBO of Mercuryo, Michael Wu, Founder and CEO of AMBR, and Terrence, Web3 Lead at TiDB of PingCAP, explore what autonomous agents mean for infrastructure and payments.
