Two stories dominated Gate‘s week. On May 27, memory chip stocks exploded: Micron Technology surged 21.40% to a record high and SanDisk jumped over 8%, triggering a 770% spike in Gate’s Micron futures trading volume and a 451% surge for SanDisk contracts. On the crypto side, Gate debuted Citrea (CTR) with a full-stack same-day rollout — spot trading, perpetual futures, launchpool staking, margin loans, bots, copy trading, and a DEX airdrop all live within 24 hours. These stories bookend a packed week that stretched across staking records, AI payments, prediction markets, Southeast Asia expansion, and more.

New Listings: Citrea (CTR) and Solstice (SLX)

Gate launched Solstice (SLX) spot and Convert trading on May 25, followed by SLX perpetual futures, margin loans, Simple Earn, Bots, Copy Trading, and Auto-Invest. Citrea (CTR) followed on May 26 with an equally comprehensive rollout: spot, Convert, perpetual futures (1–20x leverage), margin loans, Simple Earn, Bots, and Copy Trading. The Gate Launchpool Phase 363 CTR campaign runs through June 16, letting users stake BTC, GUSD, or CTR to share 16,000,000 CTR, with rewards distributed hourly.

GUSD Yield Optimized Alongside CTR Launchpool

Alongside the CTR launch, Gate upgraded its stablecoin yield structure: GUSD now offers a 3% annualized yield on minting combined with Launchpool mining rewards, with reserves backed by Treasuries and other liquid instruments for added capital security.

ETH and GT Staking Hit New Highs

ETH staking reached a new all-time high for two consecutive days, currently at 190,400 ETH with a reference APR of 4.15%. Canton Network USDCx Now Supported

Gate launched USDCx deposits and withdrawals on the Canton Network. The 1:1 USDC-backed stablecoin is treated like a conventional stable on the platform, accompanied by a $150,000 incentive program in Canton ecosystem token CC across CandyDrop, Deposit Challenge, and Simple Earn campaigns.

Southeast Asia Local Payments Expanded

Gate expanded local QR payment infrastructure to Indonesia (IDR, QRIS and bank transfer, live since April 2026) and the Philippines (PHP, QRPH payments, live May 2026).
