Gate Unifies Japanese Equities Across Web And Mobile, Deepening Global Multi-Asset Market Coverage

Cryptocurrency exchange Gate announced that it has finalized the multi-platform deployment of its Japanese equity trading service through the official introduction of mobile application support, building upon the prior web-based launch. Clients may now execute transactions in Japanese securities via both desktop and mobile interfaces, accommodating diverse trading preferences and improving cross-device operational flexibility.
The mobile application release represents the culmination of Gate’s infrastructure enhancement for Japanese stock trading. Underpinned by a consolidated account and trading architecture, the service permits uninterrupted transitions between web and mobile platforms for the purposes of market data review, order execution, and position oversight. This development responds to increasing requirements for multi-asset allocation across varying investment contexts while broadening the accessibility of international equity markets.
Expansion of International Market Infrastructure
Gate has constructed a global securities trading framework that presently encompasses the United States, Hong Kong, South Korean, and Japanese markets. The Japanese offering incorporates roughly 300 equities listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, including securities within the Prime Market segment. Prominent listings comprise Toyota Motor (7203.P), Sony Group (6758.P), SoftBank Group (9984.P), Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (8306.P), Nintendo (7974.P), and Tokyo Electron (8035.P), in addition to other actively monitored securities.
The platform has implemented several structural trading provisions, including commission-free transactions for eligible US equities, fractional share acquisition beginning at 0.01 units, dividend distribution processing, cross-broker transfer functionality for US and Hong Kong securities, and administration of corporate actions including stock splits and reverse splits. These ongoing functional improvements support more efficient market and asset connectivity within a unified operational environment.
Amid rising global investor interest in cross-border and multi-asset strategies, competitive differentiation among trading platforms has increasingly centered on asset range, product diversity, and user experience. Complementing its international equities infrastructure, Gate has introduced Pre-IPO investment vehicles, IPO Access functionality, and gStocks tokenized equity products. This diversified suite spans pre-listing opportunities, public market participation, and tokenized asset markets, thereby extending the scope of available global investment pathways.
The organization plans to pursue further expansion into strategically significant international markets while incorporating additional high-quality assets. Continued development of the equities and multi-asset product ecosystem is anticipated, alongside strengthened coordination across web, mobile, and supplementary platforms. Through deeper convergence of traditional financial instruments and digital assets, Gate intends to establish a comprehensive multi-asset trading environment encompassing broader markets, asset categories, and investment applications, ultimately furnishing global users with expanded and more adaptable asset allocation capabilities.
