Gate Launches Global First Stock Event Contracts, Debuting With MU, SNDK, SKHYNIX, And Unitree Robotics

Gate has officially launched Stock Event Contracts, becoming the first trading platform globally to support stock event contracts. The initial rollout includes MU, SNDK, SKHYNIX, and Unitree Robotics, with 5-minute and 15-minute short-duration Up/Down trading available, extending Gate’s Event Contracts offering from crypto assets to traditional stock markets.

Stock Event Contracts are centered on short-term price direction. Users do not need to use leverage or post margin. They only need to judge whether the price of an underlying asset will rise or fall over the next 5 or 15 minutes, select Up or Down, and submit an order to participate. The system automatically settles positions at the end of each cycle, while early position closing is also supported, giving users greater trading flexibility.

With the launch of the stock category, Gate Event Contracts now cover both crypto assets and stocks. Supported crypto assets include BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, HYPE, and BNB, while the initial stock lineup includes MU, SNDK, SKHYNIX, and Unitree Robotics, providing users with more diverse short-duration trading scenarios.

To reflect the trading characteristics of different markets, trading hours for Stock Event Contracts generally align with those of the respective underlying markets. MU and SNDK support U.S. pre-market, regular-session, and after-hours trading; SKHYNIX follows South Korean stock market hours; and Unitree Robotics follows A-share market hours. By covering stocks across the U.S., South Korean, and A-share markets, Gate continues to expand its stock trading product offering.

Stock Event Contracts are currently available on the Web. Gate App users must update to version v8.36.0 or above. Users can go to [Futures] – [Event Contracts] and select the [Stocks] category to view and trade the relevant assets.

To celebrate the launch of Stock Event Contracts, Gate has also introduced a dedicated trading campaign offering 60,000 USDT in rewards. During the campaign, new users who complete registration can receive a Stock Event Contracts trial voucher. Eligible users who complete their first Stock Event Contracts trade can participate in first-trade rewards, while users who complete consecutive trading check-ins or reach the required cumulative trading volume can share separate 20,000 USDT check-in and 20,000 USDT trading reward pools. The campaign covers different stages of participation, including first-time trial, continued participation, and trading volume, giving users more opportunities to experience the new product.

The launch of Stock Event Contracts introduces a more flexible short-duration trading format for stock assets and broadens the use cases of Gate’s stock offering. As stocks, RWA, and more traditional financial assets continue to enter the digital asset trading ecosystem, Gate will continue to expand its product selection across different markets and trading periods, providing global users with more diverse and flexible trading experiences.
