Gate Introduces IPO Access For Global IPOs, Linking Pre-Listing Participation With Post-IPO Trading Across Unified Investment Platform
In Brief
Gate launches IPO Access enabling USDT-based participation in global IPOs, starting with SpaceX. The platform links pre-listing interest with post-IPO trading across integrated stock and crypto services.

Cryptocurrency exchange Gate announced that it has launched a new IPO Access feature that allows users to participate in initial public offerings of globally recognised companies through its platform.
The service enables users to submit an Expression of Interest ahead of a listing and potentially receive allocated shares shortly after the stock begins trading. According to the company, the offering is intended to create a more integrated investment process that links IPO participation with post-listing trading within the Gate Stocks ecosystem.
Following successful allocation after an IPO, users are able to trade the resulting shares directly through Gate Stocks, which supports stock trading on updated versions of the platform’s mobile application. The service currently allows USDT-based trading of more than 10,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds, covering major exchanges including the NYSE and Nasdaq, and also supports fractional share purchases starting from 0.01 shares.
The IPO Access framework introduces an Expression of Interest mechanism in which allocation outcomes are influenced by user participation levels during the subscription period. According to the platform, allocation weights are determined by average locked amounts, meaning that both timing and duration of participation can affect potential share distribution, although final allocations remain subject to platform-defined rules and availability.
SpaceX IPO: Enabling USDT-Based Participation and Broader Push Toward Integrated Multi-Stage Investment Ecosystem
The first offering made available through the new system is linked to SpaceX, the U.S.-based aerospace company known for its reusable rocket technology and Starlink satellite network. The subscription process for this offering is denominated in USDT, with specified minimum and maximum participation thresholds per user. The allocation model may result in full, partial or no distribution depending on final issuance and demand conditions.
Gate has also positioned IPO Access within a broader investment structure that includes earlier-stage Pre-IPO products and post-listing stock trading, aiming to create a continuous pathway across different stages of company development. Once shares are allocated, they are credited directly to users’ Gate Stocks accounts, allowing for trading without requiring external transfers or additional platforms.
The launch reflects a broader effort by the company to expand access to global financial markets by combining digital asset infrastructure with traditional equity products. Future plans include further expansion of available instruments and continued development of integrated investment services across multiple asset classes.
