Gate Expands Prediction Markets With AI Analysis, Real-Time Data, And Improved Trade Efficiency

In Brief

Gate launches major prediction market upgrade in v8.19, adding AI analytics, “Smart Money” tracking, enhanced leaderboards, faster trading tools, and improved sports event interfaces with Polymarket integration.

Gate Expands Prediction Markets With AI Analysis, Real-Time Data, And Improved Trade Efficiency

Cryptocurrency exchange Gate announced the rollout of a new upgrade to its prediction market product, delivered through the Gate App version 8.19, with a focus on improving “Smart Money” detection and expanding data-driven trading tools. The update introduces refinements across interface design, market analytics, leaderboard structures, and sports-related trading functions, aiming to enhance decision-making efficiency in event-based markets.

A central component of the upgrade is the redesigned prediction market leaderboard, which now incorporates a more structured framework for identifying traders based on performance analytics. The system expands ranking metrics to include profit and loss performance as well as trading volume, while also adding user labels and annotation tools that categorize participants into profiles such as “Smart Money,” “Shark,” and “Whale.”

Within this classification system, “Smart Money” is used to describe traders with consistently strong long-term returns and stable profitability, positioning them as reference points for strategy evaluation. Profile pages have also been upgraded to include profit-and-loss curves, alongside access to historical trades and position changes, increasing transparency in behavioral analysis.

On the analytics side, the event detail interface has been restructured to provide improved visibility into capital distribution and market participation. Users are now able to view aggregated profit and loss data across different outcomes within a single layout, while ranking tools highlight top-performing traders for faster identification of high-performing accounts. The system also enables real-time tracking of market activity, allowing filtering of participants such as smart money accounts and large holders, which supports more immediate recognition of trading patterns and shifts in positioning.

A newly introduced “Top Holders” module further enhances visibility into concentration of positions by displaying major participants and their exposure within specific events. Combined with expanded filtering and sorting functions, the feature allows more detailed analysis across markets, outcomes, and account categories, supporting faster discovery of trading opportunities.

Gate Expands Prediction Market Infrastructure With AI Tools And High-Frequency Trading Features

In order to strengthen decision-support capabilities, the platform has also introduced an AI-powered analysis tool that generates structured summaries of market events. These include key developments, influencing factors, recent updates, and forward-looking considerations. By integrating market data, trading behavior patterns, and automated analytical output, the feature reduces the time required for information processing and supports more efficient trading decisions.

On the execution side, a new “Quick Trade” function has been added to improve order placement speed in fast-moving environments. The feature enables users to execute trades directly from listing pages or through a simplified pop-up interface within event views, without navigating across multiple screens. Both market and limit order types are supported, while maintaining full trading functionality in a more streamlined layout designed for high-frequency scenarios such as sports events and breaking news conditions.

For sports prediction markets, the platform has introduced improvements to event presentation and navigation logic by merging different stages of a match into a single event view and enabling faster switching through schedule tabs. Live matches now include real-time indicators displaying scores, timing, and match phases, allowing continuous tracking during trading activity. Additional enhancements to team data presentation and match statistics have also been implemented to improve usability in sports-related scenarios.

Further interface and system-level refinements include the addition of in-app messaging access points, clearer category navigation, improved community interaction tools, and expanded filtering options for Polymarket content. These changes are intended to improve information discovery and streamline user interaction with prediction markets.

The prediction market ecosystem within the Gate App is now described as more tightly integrated with Polymarket, enabling users to access related markets directly and utilize expanded analytical tools for strategy formation. The platform indicated that future development will continue to focus on expanding infrastructure and improving data-driven trading capabilities, with an emphasis on making prediction markets more structured, analytical, and professional in nature.
