Venga Becomes B2B Infrastructure Provider, Leverages MiCA Authorization To Power Compliant Crypto Services In Europe

In Brief

Venga opens MiCA-authorised crypto infrastructure to European firms via API, enabling compliant asset services without full regulatory buildout.

Venga Becomes B2B Infrastructure Provider, Leverages MiCA Authorization To Power Compliant Crypto Services In Europe

Europe’s digital asset market is transitioning into a new regulatory phase following the implementation of the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. The elevated operational, compliance, and capital obligations now imposed on Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) are presenting companies with a strategic decision: develop and sustain regulated infrastructure independently, or collaborate with entities that have already secured such capabilities.

The effects of MiCA are already apparent throughout the sector. Numerous firms previously active in Europe remain in the process of seeking authorization or have been compelled to modify their services while adapting to the updated regulatory environment. As compliance demands intensify, access to regulated infrastructure is emerging as an essential element for delivering crypto products to the market.

In this context, Venga has announced that it will extend the technology and regulated operational infrastructure originally developed for its consumer platform to external parties via a new API-first business-to-business service.

“MiCA has changed the economics of building a crypto business in Europe. As the cost and complexity of operating regulated infrastructure increase, we expect more companies to focus on the user experience, branding and customer relationships where they create value, while relying on specialised providers for the infrastructure underneath,” said Michael Stroev, Co-founder and CEO of Venga in a written statement. “Not every company needs to become a full-stack crypto operator. We built Venga to operate under the new European framework, and now we are opening that infrastructure to other businesses,” he added.

API-First Platform Reduces Regulatory Burden While Preserving Partner Autonomy

Through Venga’s API-driven platform, external firms can embed select cryptoasset services—encompassing purchase, sale, exchange, and custody functions—directly within their own systems. Venga supplies the regulated operational framework that underpins these activities, including client onboarding, know-your-customer protocols, anti-money laundering procedures, regulatory reporting, and compliance monitoring within the relevant partnership structure. Partner organizations maintain complete control over their brand identity, user experience, and client relationships, enabling them to concentrate on commercial growth and distribution rather than regulatory administration.

The service targets enterprises seeking to streamline their crypto-related operations, fintech and financial institutions integrating digital assets into current product lines, and international firms entering the European market with a local presence.

Venga was constructed from inception with European regulatory standards as a foundational consideration. The technological, operational, and compliance infrastructure supporting its consumer platform was engineered to satisfy the requirements of functioning as a regulated Crypto-Asset Service Provider.

After obtaining MiCA authorization from the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Venga is now making certain components of this infrastructure accessible to third parties, establishing a new B2B division in parallel with its consumer-facing operations.

Rather than treating infrastructure as an exclusive competitive advantage confined to a single platform, Venga anticipates that regulated infrastructure will progressively serve as a shared base allowing a broader range of companies to introduce compliant crypto products to European consumers, while directing their own resources toward innovation, growth, and user experience.
