Cactus Custody, the regulated institutional custody arm of Matrixport, has been awarded “Innovation in Digital Asset Custody” by Global Custodian. The recognition was announced at the 2025 Leaders in Custody Asia Awards on May 29 in Singapore, alongside winners such as BNP Paribas, Citi, DBS Bank, and Standard Chartered.
Hosted at the Raffles Hotel, the annual event brought together over 150 senior executives from leading financial institutions across Asia Pacific. Organised by Global Custodian, the ceremony highlights innovation and excellence in custody and asset servicing across the region.
Cactus Custody was recognised for its continued focus on security, technology and service. In the first half of 2025, the platform introduced a mobile approval tool with advanced multi-layered protection, enabling secure, on-the-go transaction reviews without device constraints. The award reflects growing industry confidence in its ability to deliver user-centric innovation on top of robust infrastructure.
