Bitget Outlines Strategy Centered On Tokenization, AI, And Multi-Asset Access
In Brief
Bitget outlines strategy to build a universal exchange using tokenization and AI as users increasingly trade across crypto, stocks, and gold.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has published a mid-year address from CEO Gracy Chen outlining the company’s long-term strategy focused on building a more integrated financial system driven by tokenization, artificial intelligence, and expanded market access.
The update comes amid evolving trading behaviour that increasingly spans multiple asset classes beyond cryptocurrencies. During the first half of 2026, the platform reported that approximately 52% of users held both stocks and crypto assets, while 35% were exposed to gold and other precious metals. In addition, 51% of users were engaging with AI-powered tools, reflecting rising demand for unified access to global markets through technology-driven platforms.
Evolving User Demand Drives Multi-Asset and AI Integration Strategy
Rather than positioning itself as an “asset supermarket,” Bitget said its strategy is focused on reducing friction between traditionally separated financial markets. The company outlined four core principles guiding its approach, including improving capital efficiency, enabling access to global assets through a crypto-native interface, broadening financial participation through offerings such as tokenized assets and pre-IPO products, and simplifying trading through AI-based automation.
“Our focus has pivoted from being a crypto exchange to a holistic universal provider,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget in a written statement. “Our platform removes barriers that divided financial markets for decades. Users can now access crypto, stocks, CFDs, gold and do more with their capital 24/7,” she added.
Bitget’s outlook on tokenization is anchored in Chen’s stated 10% tokenization vision, with products such as Stock+ and Reality cited as early examples of blockchain-based infrastructure aimed at improving accessibility and efficiency in investing.
Artificial intelligence represents a second key pillar of the company’s strategy. As AI capabilities shift from analytical functions toward execution, the model envisions users setting investment objectives and risk parameters while automated systems handle monitoring and trade execution. The platform now reports more than one million AI trading users and over one million copy trading users following the rollout of tools such as GetClaw and the GetAgent Playbook.
The address concluded by framing Bitget’s broader mission as expanding financial opportunity beyond traditional institutional systems, describing it as a transition from banking the unbanked to brokering the unbrokered.
