Bitget Kicks Off ‘Universal Cup’ Global Football-Themed Campaign With 250,000 USDT Prize Pool
In Brief
Bitget launches Universal Cup, a football-themed global campaign with a 250,000 USDT prize pool, interactive gameplay, and leaderboard competition.

Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget introduced a global community initiative called Universal Cup, a football-themed interactive campaign linked to a 250,000 USDT prize pool and designed around a mini-game format inspired by a major sporting event.
The initiative operates under the slogan “Don’t Just Watch. Rule the Game,” and is structured to shift users from passive viewership to active participation through competition-based gameplay.
The campaign allows participants to select from 48 countries and engage in a penalty shootout-style game featuring moving targets associated with Crypto, Stocks, and CFDs. Scores contribute to national leaderboards that update in real time, with rankings evolving as the tournament progresses. Participants are permitted to switch countries and continue competing across different stages, with the event scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
Interactive Gameplay and Reward Structure Across a Global Leaderboard System
A total prize pool of 250,000 USDT is allocated across daily rewards, leaderboard placements, random draws, and final tournament outcomes, with additional incentives for users aligned with the winning nation.
“For years, sports fans have been some of the most passionate audiences in the world, but mostly as spectators,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget in a written statement. “Crypto changes that dynamic by making participation part of the experience. Universal Cup brings together competition, community, and engagement around a global sporting moment while giving users a fun introduction to the Universal Exchange ecosystem,” she added.
Bitget stated that the campaign builds on its existing involvement in global football marketing, including prior partnerships with football figure Lionel Messi and regional sponsorship agreements with LALIGA across multiple international markets. The Universal Cup is positioned as an extension of these efforts, combining sports-themed engagement with digital asset platform interaction.
