Aurora Intents Brings Full Cross-Chain Execution To Sui, Enabling Direct Action For Users On Any Supported Chain

Aurora Intents, the cross-chain execution layer for on-chain applications developed by Aurora Labs, has announced that Intents Connect now routes any supported asset from any supported chain directly into applications built on Sui.
With Sui added as a supported destination, applications can now bring users holding assets on other networks directly into Sui-based activities such as lending and yield optimization. The offering provides full execution rather than simply delivering a bridged balance. A single integration effectively turns any chain into a market for a Sui application, allowing users with wallets on other supported chains to fund and act on Sui through Intents Connect without bridging, switching wallets, or managing gas on the destination network.
Expanded Reach Across Chain Ecosystems
The component is powered by NEAR Intents, which supplies liquidity, settlement, and chain connectivity through a solver network that has routed more than $30 billion to date.
“We chose Sui because the engineering challenge is exactly what makes this integration meaningful,” said Declan Hannon, CEO of Aurora Labs in a written statement. “Sui has a different programming model, a different address format, and a different way transactions are assembled, and it is only the second non-Ethereum-style chain we have ever supported, after Solana. Supporting Sui as a destination means Intents Connect can take the complexity of that environment away from the user while giving builders access to capital that already exists elsewhere,” he added.
Previously, a Solana user seeking to deposit USDC into a Sui protocol would have faced multiple steps across two wallets, including a separate purchase of SUI for gas. Under the new setup, the same action requires a single signature within the application already in use.
According to Aurora Labs, the delivery of funds represents only half of the task for roughly three-quarters of the applications it engages with, as users typically arrive to stake, lend, or trade, and the deposit must conclude in the intended position.
