Gate Upgrades gStocks Tokenized Securities Platform With Lending, Yield, And Leverage Functions
In Brief
Gate upgrades gStocks with lending, yield, leverage, and dividend features across 58+ tokenized global securities and unified accounts.

Cryptocurrency exchange Gate has completed a significant enhancement of its tokenized securities platform, gStocks, introducing five additional financial functions that shift the service from a purely trading-oriented offering toward a comprehensive asset management infrastructure.
The upgraded platform now supports over fifty-eight tokenized securities spanning United States equities, South Korean stocks, exchange-traded funds, and private market instruments, with each digital representation backed by a one-to-one reserve of the corresponding underlying asset. Trading on the platform operates continuously, with minimum entry thresholds set at one USDT and fractional ownership enabled, reducing barriers to participation in global equity markets.
The latest enhancement introduces collateralized lending functionality, allowing market participants to obtain USDT liquidity without liquidating existing equity positions. A yield-generation mechanism has also been added, permitting idle tokenized holdings to accrue additional returns during custody. Deep integration with Gate’s unified account architecture now enables tokenized securities to serve directly as trading collateral, removing the need for repeated asset movements between accounts and improving overall capital efficiency.
The platform additionally accommodates leveraged strategies through both isolated and cross-margin structures, supporting directional long and short positions. Eligible tokenized equity positions now qualify for automatic dividend distributions, further broadening the potential income streams available through the service.
Broader Ecosystem and Strategic Expansion
Beyond the immediate feature expansion, Gate has constructed a broader equity investment ecosystem encompassing more than 12,500 stocks and exchange-traded funds across United States, Hong Kong, and South Korean markets. This infrastructure includes fractional ownership mechanisms, dividend processing, cross-brokerage transfer capabilities for United States and Hong Kong securities, and corporate action handling such as stock splits and reverse splits.
The platform has also strategically developed complementary offerings including pre-initial-public-offering access and direct listing participation, creating a continuum of investment options from private market entry through public market trading to tokenized secondary exposure.
The enhancement reinforces Gate’s positioning within the real-world asset sector and accelerates the incorporation of digital asset infrastructure into conventional financial applications. Moving forward, the platform intends to expand its coverage of equities, exchange-traded funds, and real-world asset instruments while strengthening linkages between public securities, pre-listing opportunities, initial public offering access, and tokenized products.
The objective is to establish an integrated global investment gateway spanning private capital markets, public exchanges, and emerging digital asset categories, advancing the convergence of traditional finance with distributed ledger technology.
