Axelar Partners with Microsoft to Explore the Integration of AI in Web3
In Brief
Axelar has partnered with Microsoft to explore how public blockchains can help secure trust and speed up the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in mainstream use cases.
The partnership enables Microsoft customers to access Axelar’s blockchain data integration and interoperability solutions through the Azure Marketplace.
Axelar and Microsoft have also agreed to explore how they can leverage Azure OpenAI services to create new Web3 experiences.
Axelar, the full-stack interoperability layer for Web3, has partnered with Microsoft to build a data integration and interoperability layer that will deliver easier blockchain onramps.
The partnership will also explore how public blockchains can help secure trust and speed up the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in mainstream use cases.
As part of the partnership, Microsoft customers will be able to access Axelar’s blockchain data integration and interoperability solutions through the Azure Marketplace, such as:
- An end-to-end blockchain interoperability solution that is programmable and secure.
- Full-stack interoperability: services and developer tools that automate multichain deployments.
- Axelar General Message Passing (GMP), enabling developers to integrate functionality seamlessly across multiple environments.
This addresses a common challenge faced by developers and organizations seeking to integrate blockchain technology into their internet applications as the current market provides limited options for achieving one-click user interoperability across multiple blockchain ecosystems. By leveraging Axelar’s secure cross-chain communication network and the global scale of Microsoft Azure, this partnership offers a solution that fills this gap.
Alongside their integrations through Azure Marketplace, Axelar and Microsoft have agreed to explore solutions that can advance the Web3 industry, such as facilitating smooth connections between private and public blockchains and leveraging Azure OpenAI services to create new Web3 experiences.
“Axelar’s mission is to make the innovation on leading blockchains accessible and effortless to deploy for a new generation of interchain-native Web3 apps,” said Axelar co-founder Sergey Gorbunov. “The shared vision inspired us to partner with Microsoft to provide an extensible interoperability layer for the Azure community, from fast-growing Web3 startups to global enterprises. With Microsoft, we are now also able to explore the possibility for other new frontiers in Web3, such as blockchain-enabled Open AI services and the integration of AI in future Web3 applications.”
