Ordinals are a unique method of generating Bitcoin-based NFTs by the direct insertion of data, such as pictures, movies, or other media, into each satoshi. By applying ordinal theory, each satoshi is given a unique identification, enabling a system of native Bitcoin NFTs without the need for further layers or protocol changes. In contrast to previous Bitcoin-based NFTs that depend on layer-2 solutions, this technique provides a more fluid and integrated way to create and work with digital assets on the Bitcoin blockchain.
