This collaboration represents the initial instance where Arbitrum Orbit technology is being applied beyond Ethereum’s Layer 1 for gaming-centric blockchain networks. By integrating Arbitrum Orbit, Oasys’ Hub-Layer, which operates as Layer 1, will enable the creation and deployment of its Layer 2 blockchains, known as Verses, utilizing Arbitrum’s scaling capabilities. This union aims to establish a connection with the Arbitrum ecosystem, potentially leading to greater liquidity opportunities on these new Layer 2 blockchains.
The first Verse Layer 2 to be introduced through this approach is Uprising Verse. This gaming-oriented blockchain offers the initial multichain native yield mechanism and serves as a bridge between Web2 and Web3 gaming communities. Under the slogan “Real games for real people,” Uprising Verse seeks to bring blockchain-based games to a wider user base.
